Textbook: Thomas’ Calculus by Weir, Hass, and Giordano, Early Transcendentals, 11th Edition, Media Upgrade.
Course Description from the University Catalog
Prerequisites: thorough understanding of high school algebra and trigonometry, and specified score on the Math Placement Test or a grade of C or better in MATH 105. Functions, limits, the derivative, maximum and minimum problems, the integral, and transcendental functions.
Last day to drop the course: February 26, 2010.
Grading system: (No make-up tests, quizzes, and the final examination.)
1. 4 in-class tests (100 points each with the lowest score dropped; 2/4, 2/25, 3/25, 4/15) ----------------300 points
