1. You may work with a partner or by yourself to find a film that illustrates a psychological disorder. DO NOT use a science fiction film with supernatural elements, but rather realistic examples of human behavior with one of the following psychological disorders:
phobia
OCD
major depression
dysthymia
bipolar – manic phase
schizophrenia
disociative identity
disorder
panic disorder
2. To help you find films, you could
use these databases:

(Be sure to use the keyword search function
when you use these webpages)
3. Choose a 2 – 3 minute clip (or less) from the movie to show in class Wednesday, April 9th
4. If you use a GMU video, get a permission slip from JC and get instructor’s signature Monday, April 7th so that you can check it out of the library on Wednesday for class viewing.
5. Choose the disorder and inform the instructor which one you plan to do and which movie you plan to use on Monday .
6. For Wednesday, prepare a brief outline
of your 1-2 minute talk to present after the showing the video clip.

is classified, its probable causes, common treatment.
