Welcome to The Definitive Detective!

In this module, you will read, and think, discuss and write about detective fiction.

You will select one title from each era of the genre, and you will compare them to each other, reflect upon them and share the reflections with your classmates, and collaborate on creating a Web site about detective fiction in the eras.

In the Activities, discussion questions will be offered, which you can discuss in class and in the Forum; you can post your notes, and send e-mails to classmates; this study of literature will be assisted by a database in which you will store, search and maintain your contributions to the discourse. You will be able to use all of these resources to create your final essay.

The Definitive Detective will provide you with resources and Web links to help inform your study, acquaint you with many viewpoints, and further your search. Have Fun!!
