can interactive fiction be considered as literature? yes! Literature, in the broadest sense, can be defined as any form of writing. I think that interactive fiction can be considered as literature because it tells a story; not a traditional story, but none the less, a story. These stories allow the reader to connect to the story a lot easier and faster, forcing the reader to use his/her imagination. These stories place the reader in the story as the main character and the hero. I believe they are actually more effective than regular stories and novels because the reader can relate to the situation and story plot, in that he/she plays the main character.
