My Goals and Expections for Unit Three: The Social World
I have three goals that I want to achieve by my completion of this course:
- Earn an A in this class
- by studying, completing all assignments, and being attentive and participating in class
2. Manage my time in a more orderly fashion
- by planning out
my week in my agenda book, completing all assignments earlier than the
day before they are due, going to sleep on time, remembering that I
have other obligations beside school
3. Read and comprehend all reading assignments
- by reading and re-reading each assignment text, looking up words I don't understand, taking notes, and asking questions
I have three expections that I hope to gain by my completion of this course:
- Become a better writer
- by taking into
consideration the comments made about my writing from my professor and
peers, proof reading each of my essays at least two times, expanding my
vocabulary, and using my imagination
2. Gain a better understanding of the world today by studying the past
- by doing research, reading more text about today and yesterday, watching the news, and paying attention in class
3. Extend my network of people for future purposes
- by obtaining
contact information from other people in my class, keeping in touch
with them throughout the NCC first experience, helping others, being
friendly
