My expectations changed from page to
page when I first read the hypertext. I was set on the
Deena Larsen coming up with
some kind of definition of what a firefly was because I had no idea at
first. Also, an expectation that I had was what's next?
After the first page, the way
Larsen
used the words and phrases made me expect that this poem was going to
be a hard to read poem because I do not read poems often. After I
read the poem once, I began to expect that maybe I missed something
within the poem so I read it again. From the first page to the
last page, my expectations were the same. I expected that each
page will be filled with creative word play and uses of phrases that
will keep me interested and keep me wondering how the poem will end.
