Kenya

It is clear of what Kenya wants to accomplish through E-governance.  Kenya wants to increase the amount of people that can access the internet in the country.  Yes, the e-governance provision of electronic learning to help with the Millennium Development Goal of people receiving education.  For example, a college in Kenya called Kenyatta University is connected to other colleges around the world because of e-learning.  E-learning allows the students of Kenyatta to receive an education through the internet rather than acquiring information through the traditional way of accessing an education in classrooms.  According to the New Partnership for African Development (Nepad), e-learning has been nothing but a positive step towards Kenyans receiving education to better themselves and their society in the future: “E-schools project provides an excellent opportunity for skills and knowledge acquisition for the 21st Century.”  This statement from the Nepad shows that Kenya is taking the right to advancing their education and technology in an attempt to understand and be able to be familiar with computer technology around the world.
