Brief Course Description

The course covers biological topics using examples drawn from the Mesozoic Time Period. Climates and geography will be presented. The plants of the time will be covered in order to establish a basic ecosystem view of the world. The animals will be the dinosaurs and the topics will include the groups of dinosaurs which existed at the time, their basic biology, how they lived, and whether various theories about their behavior and physiology can be tested. Popular points of view will be examined to test their factual basis.
