Final Comprehensive Exam

             * Essential Cell Biology/ Alberts et al.        **September 27 is the last day to drop.
      Grading:  Laboratory = 25%,  Exams = 15% each,  Final Exam = 30%
If a student earns a higher grade on the final than on one of the other exams, the
lower grade will be dropped and the final will count for 45% of the course grade.
                                 THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UPS!
If you miss a lecture exam for any reason (illness, doctor's appointment, car trouble,
death in the family). the comprehensive final exam will  be worth 45% of your final
grade instead of 30%.  This option can be exercised only once during the course.
If you miss more than one exam, you will get a zero for each of them.
                                        NO EXCEPTIONS, DON'T EVEN ASK!
Under special circumstances it may be possible to take an exam early.
