Larry Rockwood is Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Policy, George Mason University. Dr. Rockwood has taught General Ecology, Population Ecology and Tropical Ecology at George Mason University for over 30 years. He chaired the Biology Department at George Mason for over 12 years. His research interests include population and tropical ecology, and plant-animal interactions. Recent research, supported by NASA and the Department of the Navy (Quantico Marine Base), involves radio tracking and behavior of black ducks, and population ecology and genetics of canids. He is the author of a recent textbook (An Introduction to Population Ecology, 2006, Blackwell), and of a laboratory manual for General Ecology.
