Fun and free don't usually go together. We've all been to those cheesy Free events we've found on Facebook or CraigsList, but this is different. The Loop has sought out free activities, events, and places to go for your sunny day enjoyment.
1.) Burke Lake Park
The Loop and guest Tom Breeden visited Burke Lake Park's disc golf course. Granted, we went in early March so the Park's beauty wasn't in full swing -- it looked pretty dead. But what we did do was try out our skills at disc golf-ing. BLP is the perfect place to let your inner child out. Our Scores: |

2.) Green Apple Festival

Washington, D.C.
Are you a fan of free stuff, good music, and learning how to save the environment? Last year's eco-bash was hosted by comic Chevy Chase and was supposed to be headlined by The Roots. A huge badass thunderstorm halted the festivities causing Chevy to yell "seek shelter!" at the entire Mall
