INTERPOL: International Criminal Police Organization

Interpol is a transnational organization founded in 1923. It has been headquartered in a variety of locales throughout Europe but is currently located within the city of Lyon, France.

Operating with a $61 million (US) budget contributed to by 187 member nations, Interpol serves as a point of contact for various national federal police forces to coordinate fugitive recovery drug and human trafficking, and white-collar crimes that cross multiple national borders.
