Introduction to Wireless Technologies

Today I'm going to discuss the beginnings, development, and envisioned future of telecommunications technologies in the home and office: Wireless Internet. Wireless Internet, almost known as Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) is easily the most proliferated internet technology since the Internet was first established. Wireless technology enables at-home users to connect to the Internet from any point in their home without constricting cables. Office workers can use these technologies to access critical business documents anywhere in a building no matter what the location. In addition to increasing productivity in the home and office, wireless networks are cheap to maintain and construct, being free of confusing cabling designs and without the need to intergrate constricting cables into the home or office.
