Welcome to the website of ENGL 209 (Enhanced Digital Text), a four-week, 1-credit introduction to hypertext, web authoring and electronic documents. The course assumes no prior computer competency. We will meet twice a week in a computer lab; there will be several short in-class and take-home assignments culminating in a final project.

Requirements outlines ENGL 209's objectives and requirements, describes the final project, summarizes the skills you will learn, explains the grading policies, and provides a link to the GMU honor code.


Resources provides links to additional sites relevant to ENGL 209.


Assignments briefly describes each major assignment for the course. Assignments will slightly vary by section; specific details are presented in each the schedule for each section.

Section 001 meets MW 9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m. in Innovation Hall 317 from November 3 to December 1 only. This section is not linked to any other course.
