The second essay will be a dual submission project coordinated with your English 209 class; this essay will be placed online. There will be no paper copy of the second essay.

The second essay should include 10 links (including targets), three images, and 3-5 screens of text. The word count should be approximately 1000-1500 words (equivalent to 5 double-spaced typed pages).

• security (perhaps tied into surveillance)

• spam and other instrusive messages (pop-ups)

Grades on this assignment will be based on the quality of the writing, the organization of the essay, and the supporting points. Consider how the medium (WWW and HTML) changes your organizational structure: this essay cannot be a single scrolling screen—multiple screens and links are a requirement for both English 101 and 209.
