Title: Values Cannot Be Ignored.
Source: Industrial & Organizational Psychology. Sep2012, Vol. 5 Issue 3, p354-357. 4p
Abstract:
The article presents the authors' insights on the value-free lens of workplace diversity described by B. M. Ferdman and L. Sagiv, which is said to overlook the consistent evidence of the emergence of conflicts among people from different groups. The author says that Ferdman and Sagiv's study highlights the importance of understanding the beliefs and attitudes of employees. Furthermore, work diversity can advance by incorporating values explored through cross-cultural work psychology.
