The values given below are the amounts of nitrogen-bound bovine serum albumen produced by three groups of diabetic mice: normal in the first column, alloxan diabetic in the second column, and alloxan diabetic treated with insulin in the third column. If you use your mouse (of the computer variety, not a diabetic mouse) to copy the data below, including the asterisks, and paste it into StatXact's CaseData editor, the three columns ought to be correctly preserved, with the asterisks not showing up. You can then cut and paste the second column below the first in Var1, and then cut and paste the third column following the first two in Var1. (At this point, Var1 should have 57 values in it.) Then in Var2 put 20 1s, followed by 18 2s, followed by 19 3s. At this point the data is in the form needed for StatXact to do the Kruskal-Wallis test, the Mood test, and several other tests. 156 391 82 282 46 100 197 469 98 297 86 150 116 174 243 127 133 68 119 13 228 29 499 131 253 168 73 122 62 18 349 127 20 110 276 100 143 176 72 64 146 133 26 108 465 86 276 40 122 50 46 455 73 34 655 * 44 14 * *
