About George Mason University

George Mason University is a public university located in Fairfax, Virginia, about twenty miles outside of Washington, DC. It offers 64 undergraduate programs, 94 graduate programs as well as a law program. The university has campuses in Arlington and Manassas along with the main campus in Fairfax. Fall 2006 enrollment reached almost 30,000 students.
