Versatile economic analyst with exceptional writing and editorial skills. My recent book, Days on the Family Farm, U of Minnesota Press, 2007, is based on farm diaries and ledgers from 1901-1944 but appeals to a general audience. Prior research had focused on issues of agriculture, environment and institutions in developing countries -- especially Latin America. Tenured at Mason with 20+ years of experience.
