Barney and the Chesapeake Bay Flotilla

This
page will describe the efforts undertaken over the last twenty-five years
to locate and examine the remains of the Chesapeake Bay flotilla. Pictures
of artifacts retrieved from the site and included in the publication War
on the Patuxent 1814: A Catalog of Artifacts by Fred W. Hopkins,
Jr., and Donald G. Shomette will also be presented on this site. There
will be links such as the National Park Service’s site on the St.
Leonard’s Creek survey
and the Maryland Historical Trust's site on the flotilla project.
