Once you have exhausted those, your best bet is to use your favorite search engine to seek specific references for more specialized topics. You will have no trouble finding them.

The University of Michigan has an extensive set of American politics resources maintained on the home page of its political science department. It is especially helpful on electoral politics and public opinion, which have long been the department's strengths.
George magazine (published by John F. Kennedy, Jr.) is a new entrant to the list of journals on American politics. It has a wonderful home page that includes references to most government offices and think tanks.
American Prospect magazine maintains the electronic policy network which primarily has links to progressive organizations on line.
The Institute for the Study of Civic Values has a wide variety of materials on democracy, civil society, and political culture primarily in the United States with a view toward community organizaton.
CNN and Time magazine established Allpolitics in 1995 in anticipation of the 1996 presidential election. It has since turned into one of the very best general sources on American politics giving, not surprisingly, to current issues and events.
The Roper Center and Gallup Organization are the best sources of public opinion data available on line.
The Almanac of American Politics is a wonderful general resource on politics in the US, including among other things information on every congressional district.
C-SPAN has both a schedule of its programming and other material for download/purchase.
