About Me:  Welcome to my web-site!  My name is Chris.  This bio will tell you a little bit about me and my web-site.  I grew-up in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  I lived in the same neighborhood and the same house from the day I was born until the day I went to college.  Fredericksburg is a great town however, so I enjoyed growing up there.

The greatest thing about my life is my family.  I have an awesome family!  My parents are great and I have two older sisters and one younger brother.  I went to elementary and middle school at a private school called Montfort Academy in Fredericksburg.  After middle school, I attended Stafford Senior High School in Stafford County, Virginia.  In high school I played tennis and swam for all four years.  I was ok in tennis, but better in swimming because I have been doing the sport since I was 5-years-old.

High school led me to where I am today, here at good ‘ol George Mason University.  I was not sure what I wanted to major in at first and then I decided to combine my favorite class in high school, Video Production, and one of the things I love most in life, sports.  The result was a communication degree with a concentration in media production.

My Sophomore year of college I was introduced to another great thing in my life.  My girlfriend Ashley.  It is now my Senior year and we are still together.  She has been a huge positive impact on my life.  With a great family, a great girlfriend and the opportunity to attend an awesome school like Chris and AshMason, I consider myself to be a pretty lucky person.

Currently I am taking my last few classes before graduation in May.  One of those classes is directed through an internship program that the communication department offers here at Mason.  My internship is at WUSA9 CBS sports.  I work long hours and get back to campus really late every night, but it is an awesome experience and a lot of fun.

Another class I am taking currently is Online Journalism with Professor Steve Klein.  This is the last class I need to complete my Electronic Journalism minor.  This website is being created throughout the spring 2007 semester for that class.  On this site you will find stories I have written on video conference sessions our class has had with some very well known people.  We are also required to write short analytical summaries of articles we read each week.  You will find all of these stories, my daily blog, my favorite websites, my multimedia project and more on this site.  It is a work in progress.  Enjoy!
