Every second to millisecond of time is unique in itself. Nothing in the world repeats the same actions over and over in unison with the same outcome and time. So the saying “history will repeat itself” is false! Therefore history is being made constantly. What is history more than unique times in the world's existence? Now as you read this and I write this, we are living important moments in history. This is a very liberal way of thinking and narcissistic of course, but believed by many. So every second the author creates the story, the story being made is literature. Literature is defined as creative writing with artistic value, and since we are the readers and authors we say what is creative and what is valuable to us. Because of the human element no other person can determine whether the work they are studying is literature or not until we take the author or reader in affect.
