My
name is Casey Clausen. I’m a 20 year old student
attending George
Mason University.
I am pursuing a double major in Accounting and Management Information
Systems. I
was born in California but I’ve spent
most of
my life in Springfield,
VA. My parents are Jan and
Clifford Clausen.
I have one older brother, Kirk, making me the baby of the family. Kirk
is 21
and a third year student at the University of Virginia.
I
graduated from West
Springfield High School
in 2004. In high school I participated in several sports
including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and rowing. After three years
of
basketball I made the switch to rowing and never looked back. I am now
a member
of the Varsity
Women’s Rowing team here at Mason!
Last
summer I worked at a summer camp for teenagers with
both physical and mental disabilities and had the time of my life.
These days I
am working as a waitress at Red Robin.
I’m
looking forward to spending the Summer of ’06 in Long Beach, CA
as in intern in the accounting department at Epson. However, I
have to
survive this semester first!
Between
school, rowing and work I keep myself pretty busy.
But if I get a free minute you’ll probably find me watching a movie,
reading, working out
or eating ice-cream. I also have an obsession with the color green and
I love
to eat anything with peanut butter.
