Map of Fairfax Campus, George Mason University

Barry A. Klinger, Fall 2019

George Mason University provides official maps of Fairfax campus which are designed for an 11 x 17 inch page. When printed on a smaller page or computer screen, the road names and other features are difficult to read.

Here is another version of the map which is largely confined to the area west of Ox Road (including all academic buildings and student residences), but which should be easily readable on a 14 inch laptop screen or printed on letter-size paper.

Map is shaded to show elevations, which can be helpful for navigating campus on foot. The topography reveals that the campus is situated on three ridges separated by two stream valleys (streams not shown).
