Allison M. Jacobs I am a second year Master's student in George Mason University's Human Factors / Applied Cognition Psychology program. I am working with Dr. Greg Trafton at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. My research is in Human Robotic Interaction, specifically Social and Cognitive Robotics. My current research focuses on understanding the underlying cognitive processes that control gesture production and comprehension, specifically for beat gestures. My past projects have looked at emotional state detection and identifying memory retrieval failures following an interruption during a naturalistic task. |
