Hypertext
Text visualized via a computer which leads the user to information
related to the text with the simple click or hover of the mouse.
Hypertext is a recent development in the relationship between reader
and text. Using hypertext, the user interacts with the text at hand and
is offered definitions, images, links to other webpages, or even video
clips without having to first steer away from the text.
