Andreea Gabudeanu

My name is Andreea Gabudeanu. I was born in Bucharest, Romania and lived there until 2005. I have finished my college years in Romania with a BA in Literature and Foreign Languages from the University of Bucharest. I had made several critical decisions in my life but never regretted the new path chosen. One difficult choice was to change my college applications from International Economy to Literature and to leave behind four intensive high school years in Advanced Mathematics and Physics. I was left with a Mathematical mind and a way to organize my writing about books in a dual dimension: the argumentative arcade and the emotional thread.

I am interested in Cultural Studies, world cinema, and world literature. I carry over stories and pieces of the European culture that are all dear to me and that have shaped and formed me to what I am today. Not an aspiring writer myself, I am focused on book reviews and comparative literature criticism.

Although all stories come to an end, I am hoping to continue my literature study journey after I will be graduating from George Mason with the Masters in English - Literature concentration.
