Mid-term Exam 20%
Term Project: Consists of:  Progress Report Memo (2) , Mid-point presentation, Final presentation, Final report (see below for more detail) 35%
Final Exam 20%
Summary of Assigned Readings (6) Class Participation 15%

Term Project Description

The term project will require teams of three students to work together to gather information on a challenging intersection or segment of highway in Northern Virginia and to propose design improvements to help improve a) operations or b) safety.
