Internet Technology Impact on Accounting


     The old method of maintaining accounts was manual. A book keeper maintains the ledgers, accounts receivable, payable, balance sheet in the books. Manual entries are time consuming, error prone and resource consuming. The computer technology has made the accounting easier, with lots of tools. The internet helps firms to get the accounting work done through telecommuting.
