     Communication is one of the important aspect of life where human communicate with human, human communicate with robots and vice versa. There are a lot of ways to communicate. In the past days, people communicated through postal services, heliographs, telegraphs, telephone and much more. The technology has evolved so much during these days that it’s so hard to believe that people from one end of the earth can communicate in seconds with other end of the earth. The computer and the internet invention is a very good example of Technology evolution. The channels that the internet has brought to the communication world are amazing. The internet made the impossible to be possible and acts as a single medium to communicate with human to human, human to machines (Computers) across the geographic locations. There are lots of advancements in the internet technology on the communication side like email, video mail, chat, Voice over IP, Web Conferencing, telecommuting etc. etc. My paper will discuss the impact of the internet technology on Students, Management, Medical professionals, Accounting people and others.

About Internet and Computer technologies

The internet technology spearheaded the global communication revolution. “With the rapidly expanding reach of the Internet into most aspects of everyday life, we need to understand its social impact and the behaviors leading to this impact. Since 1995, our studies have consistently pointed to communication as a principle reason people use the Internet. From the early days of networked mainframe computers to the present, interpersonal communication has been the technology’s most frequent use [1, 2].” Internet communication has evolved into many services like email, instant messaging, video mail, video conferencing, VOIP, web conferencing etc. Communication is very important to people so that they can communicate with their neighbors, family, and friends irrespective of geographic location.
