As an application of technology to meet the third UN goal, the Bindura Internet Learning Center is doing very well. The center is leading the way for the WorLD Links program because of its popularity. The center does not focus on who it serves but rather what it serves. By bettering the community, starting with children, Zimbabwe will increase the rate by which it develops. Starting with girls at young ages, the center will educate them and therefore increase the number of educated women in the country. In Zimbabwe, it has always been a privilege for men to attend school and become educated. Now with the help of the Bindura Internet Learning Center, women enjoy their right to knowledge in the same fashion. As long as there is a way for these women to learn and the desire to do so, developing countries will use the Bindura Internet Learning Center as a model for success.
