About me

Paul Otto began his Ph.D. studies in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at George Mason University in fall 2010. He brings over a decade of industry based experience in the fields of far field adaptive beamforming, GPU based algorithm design and stereoscopic video generation to the Biomedical Imaging Laboratory where he is investigating original methods for shearwave generation and tracking in muscles tissue using plane wave ultrasound imaging for his thesis work. His advisor is Dr. Sikdar.
