George Mason University was founded in 1972 and has grown drastically. Mason has locations in three Virginia counties
There are 64 undergraduate degree programs and 94 graduate programs offered as well as one Professional Law Degree. (see Mason's Facts and Figures) Fall 2006 the total enrollment was just shy of 30 thousand students.
Mason has much to offer its students as well as the community around the campuses. Mason's main campus at Fairfax is always bustling with something new and exciting from the many concerts and programs unfolding at the Patriot Center to the activities and events the students themselves put on.
