AOCS
Using Audacity Ditigal Sound Recorder

You will be making many sound recordings for this class.  The easiest format for these recordings is digital.  You can use the computers in the LDC (or you computer as long as you have a microphone ... or this cheaper one) to make digital recordings.

Today, you will make a short recording in which you introduce yourself to me (remember to mention at least one "extra" piece of information about yourself other than your name). Use the handout I give you in class or the link below learn how to use the program.
For information about how to use the program in the LDC, click here

Your recording today should be:

  • 10 to 30 seconds long and
  • recorded as a digital sound file (.mp3 or .ogg)
    • In Audacity be sure to EXPORT the file as an mp3 or ogg --> DO NOT simply SAVE IT.
  • Recordings are due
    • at 2:50pm today!
    •
  • Send to my Gmail account at <llmiller@gmail.com>.
