To Kill a Mockingbird Background Presentations

For this project, you will work to evaluate and improve a presentation about background information related to To Kill a Mockingbird.  

You will find the presentation on your topic from last semester on the class wiki.  It it is a PowerPoint presentation.

You need to download last semester's presentation on your topic and analyze it. Ask yourself these questions:

  • What does the presentation teach me about the topic?
    • Is this information correct (check with on-line sources)?
    • Is this information presented in clear, easily understandable way?
  • What can I do to improve the presentation?

After anaylzing the presentation, make changes to it to improve it. Be sure to include references to the source of information you used to either validate the current presentation and/or to improve the presentation (this includes references to visual sources).

All group presentations must be completed and posted by class time on Wednesday, March 2 .  

Class members will view presentations before class on Monday, March 7

During class on Monday, March 7, class members will have an opportunity to ask other class members clarification questions about the different presentations.

On Wednesday, March 9, you will take a quiz on the topics covered in the student presentations.
