Education
Dr. Larry Kerschberg received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio, his M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and B. Sc. with honors, in Engineering Science, from Case Institute of Technology.
Current Position
Dr. Larry Kerschberg is a Professor in the Computer Science Department, in the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University. He also has a courtesy appointment in the College of Science at Mason.
Dr. Kerschberg was Director of the MS in Information Systems program within the CS Department until Fall2015. He served as elected Faculty Representative to the George Mason University Board of Visitors until Spring 2016. He is a member for the GMU Faculty Senate.
Dr. Kerschberg chaired the Department of Information and Software Engineering from 1989 to 1997. On January 1, 2008 the ISE Department merged with Computer Science to form the new Computer Science Department.
Dr. Kerschberg serves as a founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Intelligent Information Systems, published continuously by Springer since 1992.
