First General Membership Meeting with Andersen Consulting.

1. Introduction of officers

• Announced that information about GK and the group’s activities can be found at the website.
• Announced the next GK event – the AIDS Walk on October 7^th – and that the contact for that is Valentino.
• Announced that the next meeting will be co-hosted by Andersen Consulting on October 16^th at 6:00 p.m., and that they will be conducting mock interviews.


3. Andersen Consulting
• Three Andersen representatives gave a presentation on the company, jobs, application procedure, etc. Important dates to remember involving Andersen follow:

9/26 & 9/27 – Mock interviews held by the Career Services Office at Mason

10/4 – Mason Job Fair

10/17 – Information Session

10/24 – Deadline for resumes to be submitted to Andersen via 1^st Place Web

11/9 – Invite Only Session

11/17 – Screening Interviews will be held

11/20 & 11/21 – Behavioral Interviews will be conducted
