In this short response essay (3 pages, double spaced), give your initial thoughts on the idea of "libertarian paternalism," as presented in the Introduction to Thaler and Sunstein's Nudge. Consider your own decision-making processes: are you a "Human" or an "Econ"?
Be specific in your examples: consider recent decisions you have made, whether large (choosing a major) or small (choosing a breakfast). Were you nudged? If so, was it beneficial? If not, would you have benefited from a nudge?
