Letters of Introduction

For the next class, I would like you to write a short email memo introducing yourself to me and to the class.

The memo should be informal (that is, standard email formatting), but appropriate (this is your first impression). What should we know about you? Be sure to include

• your name
• your major or your field of study
• why you chose to take English 410

You can also include information about your professional goals, outside interests, and the like.

The memo should be 1-3 paragraphs.

This assignment is not graded. It is just what it says it is: your introduction to the class.
